Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center
The construction of the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center in Lucban in 2004 gave birth to the pilgrimage tourism in Quezon. This place of worship is frequented by pilgrims from various parts of the country and abroad in hopes of getting their ailments cured. A side attraction at the centre is a grotto built of top of a hill where a 50-foot statue of Jesus Christ is mounted.

Sariaya Beach

In Sariaya, a first-class municipality on the southeastern side of the provincial capital Lucena, is home to the province's famous beaches. NorthWest, Korean Air, Philippine Airlines and Cathay Pacific all fly into Manila from the US; Mostly via Los Angeles Intl, Las Vegas or San Francisco (only Philippine Airlines is non-stop). There are lots of hotel options near the airport (see list below) These might make good sense on your first night and the night before you depart; the hotels i list are on Roxas blvd which has some of the nicer hotels in the Philippines, there are countless less expensive options in town all of the hotels i list below can arrange transport from the airport.

I would not spend my time in Manila. I would not try to rent a car; you can hire a driver for the day for around US$60 and not have to deal with the traffic or getting lost. it is highly unlikely that your girlfriend is going to know her way around and she won't know how to drive.

Boracay is a very popular island fairly close to Manila. I personally like Palawan better; that is a longer flight and tends to be more expensive but also much less crowded and has very nice beaches. 100 islands is a park in Northern Zambales or eastern Pangisinan; the park consists a lot of tiny islands. you can hire a banca boat to take you out to a private island and spend a few hours there... one concern is that you will be traveling during rainy season and it WILL rain every day so be prepared for that and also for the heat. The Philippines is a tropical country and it will be hot.

I don't know if it is still there but there was a Philippine Consulate Office in New Orleans, about a block from the aquarium. You can check there or possibly If there are any Philippine grocery stores in your area, swing by and pick up a copy of any of the Philippine community newspapers. Most of them have advertisements for travel services that operate in the US to help plan trips to the Philippines; usually for much better rates than you can find online.

I have bad experience with this subject. Sometime ago I used to work as a nurse in a clinic of haemodyalisis. Most of our patients who made a kidney transplantation in countries such as India, Pakistan etc. had number of postsurgical complications including contamination with Hep. B and C, infections and organ rejection.
In 1998 I went to Pakistan (Lahore) with a patient for kindney transplantation. The hospital was private and it was clean according to the local standards. The surgery itself was successful, but after a week in the hospital we were moved to a hotel and the living conditions there were critical,especially for a person after organ transplantation where hygiene is a major priority. In 5 days we flew back to Europe, having chages of climate and weather. The patient had a low immune protection (due to immunosuppressing treatment. He had a viral infection(common cold), which costed him his life. My opinion is to have the treatment in Europe, America or South Africa where the medicine is advanced and the post surgery treatment is on appropriate level. I have been to South Africa with a patient for a medical treatment, it's very good. It's a bit cheaper than Europe and America and they have excellent doctors and hospitals. Don't forget your health is the most important thing in your life, choose the best option. Good luck.

It's not worth filing a complaint 'coz it will take long and nothing will happen at the end. People you'll be dealing with will just ask for money to search for your package and letters and at the end no solution. It had been that way ever since I was a kid, every b-day card or christmas card someone opens it and get the cash in it if no cah they throw it in the trash no wonder i didn't get my b-day card and christmas card from my dad.
