Tips on travel - Cavite?
I am planning a trip to Cavite, Philippines in July. I would be grateful for any tips on how to get there from Manila (is it possible to go direct from the airport?), what Cavite is actually like, and any accommodation tips.

It will depend if what place in Cavite
1. From the airport, take a "metered taxi" from the airport. You may want to take good but 4-star hotel Island Cove. Just tell the Taxi Driver (pre-paid taxis from the airport, they will issue receipt). I think it is between 700-1000 pesos only.
2. Island Cove is a resort. I think one night stay is 2,500 per room or 3,500 but its worth it, good amenities.
3. From Kawit, you can visit Tagaytay, you may want to contact the hotel concierge for details. But from the hotel you can take jeepney or tricycle going to SM Mall and from Aguinaldo Hi-Way take a bus to Tagaytay.
4. Tagaytay has many hotels, you can choose from bed and breakfast to the 5-star hotels there. Good and quiet, safe.
