Philippine Travel Destinations

Philippines : Travelling Abroad. Once your passport got stamped by the immigration, does that mean you are no?

longer in the territory of that country, technically speaking of course, even if you are still inside the airport. Would that mean that you are no longer bound to the terms of the law of the land, but, the law of the country of your destination.

For instance, a person traveling to his home country the US after his two months visit in the Philippines, once his passport got stamped by the Philippine Immigration Officer : Exit - date: would that mean he is not in the Philippine land but technically in the US territory.

Thanks to enlighten me.
@Gary..
LOL! you're cute!

Immigration is the door to and from the country you are entering/leaving. The airport space outside immigration counters are international zones and are NOT governed by immigration laws of that host country. So if you have already passed immigration and/or had your passport stamped exit (in some countries they do not put an exit stamp) you are in the international zone. You are NOT in the jurisdiction of the country you plan to go to yet nor are you still in the host country's jurisdiction as well. You are neither here nor there if that is how you would like to look at it.
