Vacation Destination?

I am planning a 3 week trip to go back to Asia. I am thinking of going to Philippines and Thailand. I already been to Thailand.

I am wondering where would a good place to go/stay/scuba dive for a early 30 single, solo traveler.
Thanks for the answer, but how about more information.

I would like to know how i find the information I am looking for. Any URL references?

For excellent diving on a budget, Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines is great and easy to get to. There are many dive sites within a 15 minute boat ride for $18-$20 per dive, including equipment. There are some snorkeling sites where I spent hours in the water. I just came back to the boat occassionally for a drink or to reload my camera. Absolutely beautiful under water scenary. Wear a skin for sun protection if you plan to play in the water so long.

I stayed at the At-Can Inn for $20/night (Sept. off-season). I had a second floor apt w/full kitchen, fan and A/C. I could throw a stone into the ocean from my balcony though there was building blocking part of the view.

Sabang beach is not a nice beach for sunning or playing. It is narrow and not so clean. Some of the more expensive resorts in the area had excellent beaches.

There are also some waterfalls and other nice and picturesque day trips to visit. There is plenty of night life, bars, discos, karaoke and good sea food.

Sabang beach is very popular with German and Korean divers but people from all over the world visit there also.

The floating bar was not open while I was there. I am not sure if it seasonal or gone.

La Union was disappointing. Mactan has spectacular beaches and good diving but is pricier.
