Credit cards in the phillipines...?
I'll be staying in Manilla a few days... mainly I'll be at the Peninsula hotel. Does anyone know of any shops near the area? And secondly are credit cards widely accepted?
Pennisula is in Makati City. Just ask the concierge the way towards Rustans, Landmark, Glorietta. They are adjacent to each other about 5 minutes jeep towards EDSA along Ayala Avenue.
If your Credit Card is VISA, MASTERCARD, you should have no problem. Bring your passport with you and 1 additional ID. Some establishment would ask for them. You can also withdraw peso amount through an Automated Teller Machines (ATM), located in Banks and Mall, using your credit card just have your PIN ready.
