The cottages at Morritt Farms are built overlooking the farm and a lake. The farm also has caravans and dormitories with activities including organic farming demonstration, tilling, fishing, trekking and tour of banana plantation. They also arrange tours to Kolar gold mine. 

If you want to stay in proper village-like houses and not resorts on your farm holiday weekends, Angana resort on Kanakapura Road in Bangalore is the place to be. Angana, which means the courtyard, is a theme resort built in the form of a countryside house with a central courtyard and six independent rooms around it. There are two cottages too. Rustic teakwood furniture, gramophone and dim interiors will enliven your childhood memory of a village house where courtyard used to be the center of all activities. Even the swimming pool in the backyard of Angana reminds of those ponds at village temples as it's built with stairs on the sides.
