Bohol, best beaches that dont belong to a resort, and how to get there from Tagbilaran ferry pier?
Hi, Im going to do the Bohol supercat 1 day tour,but i thought i might go back to Bohol for another day trip on my own, and see what i didnt see before ie beaches.What is the last ferry (any company) back to Cebu at night? Is there a bus service at the pier in Tagbilaran to a not so far beach?I was going to do Island hopping off Mactan but ive been put off by single supplement prices of 5000php a day!!!!!
ps.... Hows the weather there at the moment? everytime i do an online search its says its raining everyday i thought this was the dry season lol.!!
One day tour? Waste of time you will spend more time on the boat than doing anything worthwhile. Slow down and spend a few day at Bohol is is much cheaper and nicer than most of Mactan. I've often spent time both places.
If you budget is 15,000 a day Mactan is outstanding and I recommend it highly. Try Shangri-La or Imperial Palace Mactan not inexpensive but very good value.
If your budget is 5,000 or less Bohol is a much better choice. Many of the Bohol beach side resorts are reasonably priced a short taxi ride from the dock. Be sure the cab driver will use the meter.
This is the HOT and dry season, but as always expect the unexpected. ;^)
Super Cat is the fastest and safest way to go. Up grade to first class it's not much more and is well worthwhile.
