Philippines Travel -Boracay, Cebu, Bohol -Have you been and where do you recommend?
This March I will be traveling to the Philippines with my boyfriend and this is my first time. We will be spending time in Boracay, Cebu & Bohol and I am looking for advice from fellow travelers on places to go, places to stay, eat, dance, sunbathe, explore,shop etc. Any personal info you can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If you're just after a beach holiday then go to Boracay. If you want to experience 'real' life in the Philippines go to Cebu (and not just in the city). Go to Kawasan falls in Cebu. Hire a car/driver and spend a couple of days traveling around. If you want to see some wonderful natural wonders then go to Bohol. You can see the Chocolate Hills and the Tazier Monkey there. Fantastic!!!
Personally I'd base myself in Cebu and visit the islands around there. If I wanted beaches I'd go closer to home....a beach is a beach is a beach.
