There are many choices of hotel and resorts in the Subic Bay area. If you are looking only for price than arlene inns , city inn or sunshine lodge all around the Apo rotunta/ Victory liner station are all around 1,000 peso, Arlenes also has a location on Magsaysay drive.
On the freeport try Subic Park at less than 2,000.
In barrio barretto you can get some very good values. coffeeshop hotel has a promo now for less than a 1,000 peso it across the road from driftwood beach.
Arizona resort is the best value at around 1750 pesos. Arizona is about 60% foreign guest. while Playapapaguyo is also in the same range. both of these are beach fronts.
some people look down on barretto but most of those have not been here in decades. yes there are clubs with the girls in the area but many Filipino families also come to the area.
