If I build a camping resort, would other foreigners come to it?
I intend to build near the ocean with my fruit tree farm on one side of the road and rent tents to campers on the ocean side, near or on the beach.
It has nearly white sand and is very nice.
I am building a round swimming pool with a water slide on it and will provide U.S. meals and Philippine food as well.
I will also have a convenience store, barber, driver/car, boat tours and several other features set up.
If anyone can think of anything I missed, please let me know, as I want this as nice as possible.
Oh, and it will be in Bohol, very quiet, clean and safe.
What is a cabana?
Fishing trips can be arranged and the showers/toilets are included in the septic plans.
Maybe personal sized sailing craft would be nice for the more adventurous.
yes. 3 things most tourist are looking for: 1. beach 2. ecotourism 3. culture. 1. you have the beach, good start. 2. bohol is great for eco-tourism, be sure to highlight any nearby sites, such as chocolate hills, reefs, nature parks, etc. 3. culture, provide tourists with some overview of local culture, maybe a nipa hut to serve as a mini-museum with artifacts, and quick history lesson on the local native tribe, native dress, dance, etc.. (if any of this history remains preserved).
provide tourguides to local eco tourism and cultural sites.
provide electric fan and nice airmattress or cot in each tent. advirtise this, and especially the pool and beach on any advertisements. you may also want to emphasize that the campites have full shade, another important feature that seasoned campers look forl
rather than try to offer 'american style meals' simply offer a few easy to cook western items on the menu, such as hamburgers, hotdogs, french fries, pizza, etc..
