Subic Resorts

Been to the Arizona International Hotel?

How are the facilities / amenities / services? How are the rooms? Is this a beach resort? Is there a pool? What could you say about the place? What are their rates? How would it compare to other beach resorts such as Camayan, By The Sea Resort, or the Subic Int'l Hotel? I've been to all those places' websites but I want to know from people who've been to those places.

I am with Seahorse tours in Subic Bay freeport and we put guest into most of the hotels in the subic bay area. I can say that in its price range arizona has the highest level of customer satisfaction and repeat business from our guest. It is a beach resort with a nice swimming beach and does have a swimming pool. room are comfortable with cable tv, air con, hot and cold showers, room service, in room safe but the standard rooms are a little small. deluxe rooms are fine. the hotel has an poolside bar and grill with reasonably priced food. very good customer service. it is located in Barrio Barretto of Olongapo and near other restaurants and easy trip to area attractions. Camayan Beach resort is better, rooms are larger ( except if compared to Arizona's Family rooms)and will take up to 5 people. the beach is by far the best in the area with some of the greatest views in the Philippines. however it is more than twice as expensive. it is located out by Ocean adventure and there are limited activities nearby. If you do not want to eat at the resort it is a 20 minute drive to another restaurant. By the sea is near to Arizona, its price is lower but the rooms are only marginal, some do not have relaiable hot water.it does have a beach similar to Arizona. Subic international hotel is not near a beach but does have a nearby swimming pool. The quality of the rooms vary and we can only recommend the "delta" building rooms.
