I need some holiday ideas for a few 16 year olds going on holiday next year after leaving school?
few 16 year olds, leaving school, in need of a good partying and a good time! we only have about £400 to spend (including spending money)
plus im trying to persuade my brother to come with some of his friends as he'll turn 18 in april, so we'll be able to go abroad, hopefully.
If a few of you are going ( I take it as 3-4), then £400 is not very much money, especially if you are going abroad. The best deals occur between May and the start of July before the kids break up from school .After about the 20th July prices shoot up, so if you can look for deals before then.
Because of your limited funds, I would reccomend a holiday in your present country. I'm not sure where you are in the UK but for example you can go for 3 nights at Alton Towers theme park and stay in the fantastic hotel, and have 3 days in the park and waterpark.
Also, because you are all 16 and not 18 it will be difficult to find a hotel abroad that will take you without someone over the age of 18. You will find it hard to get into clubs etc so I think a 5-7 days in a nice B and B by the sea, with a few arcades etc is your best bet, such as Blackpool, which also has a pleasure beach. Places like london and manchester wont take you without a guardian
Another idea is a camping holiday, where u can set up near a river, take all you own booze and a CD player, and have a good time in the wilderness without any rules!
