Manila Packages

What to do next after package arrives in Manila from the US via EMS?

A second-hand item was sent to me in Manila from the US via Express Mail Service (EMS). The tracking info states it arrived yesterday (June 7) and is now with Customs. What do I do next? Do I have to wait for PhilPost to deliver the package to my house or do I need to pick it up? How do I know how much I need to pay to get the package?

If you don't have to pay customs and duties, EMS will send it to you via LBC to your doorstep soon. If you have to pay for duties, wait for the notice from the Bureau of Customs via slower than snail mail. You have to claim it from the Bureau.

Don't think about the extra cost but next time use FedEx or DHL, they will take care with customs and will bill you when they will hand over the goods to you at your doorstep.
