In Bohol , how much to go on simple scuba dive?

I,m visiting bohol for a few weeks in march to see my girlfriend there and we would like to take a intruductory scuba course to go on simple easy dive there,what might that cost? . . i had scuba certifcation 25 years ago and she is totally new to it

Not sure on the price, but if she is a Filipina then have her negotiate a price with the instructor without it even known that you are with her. The moment you show up in the picture, their price will go up but if they already told her a price they wont be able to change it after the fact. The 50-60 ballpark seems fairly reasonable, but of course always start your offer lower than that so you have some room in the negotiations.

Some questions about DUMAGUETE/Bohol……?

1)can I go to bohol from DUMAGUETE to bohol by ship directly? No transitting at cebu.
2)If I wanna go to see dolphin watching/balicasag island/virgin island, do I have to lodging a hotel at Alona island? Or can get accommodation at Bohol island, and start from Bohol next morning?
3) I toally can’t swimming, then can I have a try to skin diving? would that be danger?

Yes you can go to Bohol from Dumaguete directly but i think just three times a week the shipping trip schedule for that distination unlike Cebu - Bohol, there are severals trips everyday.

Balicasag is far from Alona Beach Resort, almost 40 km its distance and there are also lodgings/hotels at the location of Balicasag itself.

I guess it is very difficult for you to dive at the deep sea w/out any experience yet on diving, the basic for diving you have know first how to swim then how to breath under the surface of the water using an oxygen gas.
