I once went to HADSAN Resort. It is cheap, although I wouldn't call it classy (that is an oxymoron). At most I will say it is comfortable and clean. If you are the finicky type, bring your own linen and pillow cases, just as I do, so that I won't bother with the cleanliness standards when I want to save on travel and accommodation funds.

But Hadsan is ok.

What's the best cebu beach resort for a day trip that's near cebu city?

I'm staying in a hotel in Cebu City but I wanna make a daytrip to te beach. They say Mactan or Lapu Lapu Island beaches are good, can you recommend any? And do I need to make reservations?

lets see. if youre talking about high class kinds of beaches, you should try, plantation bay, shangrila or hilton. but if you dont want to spend that much to the trip to the beach you should try costabella or white sands.

and yes you do have to make reservations. just try looking in the phone book at the hotel youre staying in.
