Please try PORTOFINO Resort in Angasil, Mactan. It's a few minutes drive from the airport and has nice accommodations and not to mention the gentle sloping beach. You pay there per room, not per person. Cheapest room is P2,600 and the most expensive is P3,500. I was there yesterday. Try calling their Operations Manager at +639176257294.

I once went to HADSAN Resort. It is cheap, although I wouldn't call it classy (that is an oxymoron). At most I will say it is comfortable and clean. If you are the finicky type, bring your own linen and pillow cases, just as I do, so that I won't bother with the cleanliness standards when I want to save on travel and accommodation funds.
But Hadsan is ok.
