how do i check if the travel agent is legitimate?

I am here in the US and will travel going to Philippines for a vacation. I am a Filipino citizen. And due to significant price difference, I am thinking of settling to a travel agent. However, this is my first time dealing with an agent here in the US. So, I was wondering how I could check the legitimacy of the agent.

If, by any chance, you've heard of bad feedback about the following names -- I would appreciate your response to this question.

tourism jobs in singapore- iS IT EASY TO LOOK FOR RELATED JOBS?

I just receivd my EPEC from MOM Singapore last 2 weeks ago..... My question is : Can filipinos easily look for a TOURISM job in singapore? I am a travel agent here in the philippines from Travelex Travel Services (formerly Thomas Cook, Philippines). Where shall i apply ?? And does singaporean recruiters give more chances to Filipinos who are applying ONLINE?? THANK YOU

Tourism is also big market in Singapore.Just go on line to job search sites and try applying on line.eg:jobsdb
Most Singaporean also look for job on line,so you should have the same chance as anyone in getting recruited.
