my family and i wanted to go in puerto galera but we dnt have a place yet.. is there anybody knows where is the good and affortable plce in the white beach?..
its ok if you arrive without any hotel reservation, you can look for a place upon arrival (except during peak season)

Generally speaking Puerto Galera has 2 main beach areas: Sabang Beach is a foreignor hang out. White Beach is more Filipino.
I've never been to, or heard of, Encenda. So, it must be new. I checked out their website and it looked very unprofessional. They don't seem to have diving on-site, so they refer you to other hotels. The website makes me a little unsure about the place.
I have been to Sabang a million times as I lived in Manila for 3 years. Acutally, I've stayed in all levels of accomodations in Sabang. I go to Portofino. It's in the next beach over from the major beach with most bars & restaturants. So, at Portofino it's quiet at night, and it's on the beach. Sit on hammock at night and listen to the waves. Also, I dive in the dive shop next door to the hotel. This hotel is a little pricy, but I think that it's worth it. The $75 per night 1 room with kitchen and view can't be beat. It's clean, great food, great staff. It's a spanish style of architecture. They have a little pool as well. You should check them out. I'm staying there in November.
