Dive Galapagos - Visibility SUCKS when Diving the Galapagos

Dive Galapagos - Visibility SUCKS when Diving the Galapagos

Now if you're used to diving in a Quarry Pit, or a Lake, or Ocean where the visibility is not so good, then you're going to be right at home if you decide to dive the Galapagos cause the VISABILITY SUCKS in the Galapagos. Ok maybe it's not quite the same as diving in your local quarry pit, but the reason visibility is so bad when you dive the Galapagos, is because there is just so many fish it's really quite unreal.

The abundance of fish life you will see when you dive the Galapagos, is phenomenal and the variety is also extreme,  on many occasions you are engulfed in shoals of fish that take the visibility down to  just few feet as you are engulfed in fish life, as you swim out of the shoal you are met with the more normal 60-120ft viz depending on the area of the Galapagos you are diving

If you have never been Diving Galapagos, then you are in for a real treat. Diving the Galapagos is considered by all divers that have dove there, to be the best diving in the world for big marine life and the author wholeheartedly agrees in the assessment that when you Dive the Galapagos you will be diving on one of the best locations on Earth.

Dive Galapagos – Disney Land For Divers

So what is a typical dive like when you Dive Galapagos? First off the life on the surface of the water is very active and it is not untypical to see Dolphins jumping, Sea birds diving into the water after the shoals of fish that have been chased to the surface by underwater predators. You can also see Turtles surfacing to take a breath before descending back into the depths and all this before you have even descended.

Once under the water it is literally Disneyland for Divers, a wondrous place where you just don't know where to look first. The waters are teeming with life from the moment you slip under the water you will see hundreds of Sharks patrolling the waters looking for their next meal, you will see Turtles which are abundant, on multiple occasions you will bump into a pod of Dolphins that quickly comes in for an inspection of the strange looking creatures flailing about underwater. And then there are the Big Daddy's that are spotted on a very regular basis when diving the Galapagos, such as the huge Pacific Manta Rays, and their smaller cousins the Modula Rays. Manta Rays can reach a massive size, and many times the only way you know they are there, is the light suddenly dims as a massive Manta Ray flies over the top of you blocking the sunlight for a few seconds, making you look up. Then there are the Mobula Rays that are about 12-14 wingspan, they travel in groups just like a squadron of jet fighters flying by in formation, swimming  very close and circling the divers before swimming off.

Then there is grand daddy of them all, the largest fish in the sea ,the mighty Whale Shark. Whale Sharks can grow to over 40ft in length and are abundant in the Galapagos and if you have never dove with a Whale Shark your chances are very high that you will see your first one on your dive trip to Dive the Galapagos.

In late fall this is the best time to Dive Galapagos and see Whale sharks and on many many occasions dive trips have seen up to 24 Whale Sharks per 5-7 day Liveboard charter adventure.

Dive Galapagos – Required Diving For Every Diver

Diving Galapagos Islands is the Mecca for divers, and as a Muslim is required to make the pilgrimage to Mecca once in their life you as a diver should also make the pilgrimage to Dive Galapagos at least once in your life, do whatever you have to, to get there, Sell your Granny, sell the Car, dance naked in your local Mall for tips, whatever it takes to raise the funds for this trip of a lifetime. It will be worth every single cent and will be the very best dive trip you ever take, GUARANTEED

Top 10 Beach Resorts In The Philippines

Sunset Beach Villas Exclusive Tropical Island

ABOUT TABLAS

After a year of thorough research we came to the conclusion that the best investment opportunities in the Philippines come together on the island of Tablas (Romblon). Tablas is completely different from the rest of the Philippines, still undiscovered and sleepy.

Making good profit is a matter of "getting in on the ground floor of development activity" on Tablas Island, which is very soon to boom.

Why wait until the ‘Big Developers' build expensive retirement villages?

We - the retirees - can do that much cheaper ourselves, and make it exactly as we prefer.

Why wait until the 'Big Developers' occupy the best beach lots? We have seen this in Boracay where the price of some beach lots have increased a hundredfold.

Boracay? Or Tablas?

About 1 Million tourist visit Boracay every year; "sun, sand and party" 24/7.
But where do you go to escape the 'karaoke terror'?

How about Tablas Island? It's only 30 minutes by speedboat. Or take an airplane.
There you will find this:

About one million tourists per year are visiting Boracay but there is no room for expansion anymore so investors are now looking at Tablas Island to develop a golfcourse, a horse stable, an aqua sports facility, beach resorts and other world-class developments where tourists can escape the 'Sun, Sand and Party' of Boracay and enjoy the quietness of nature as it should be...

Yes, Boracay is an exciting, 24-hour karaoke, bar and restaurant "cool" place to be and to be seen (especially by the young). However, for a quiet, idyllic retirement spot within your retirement budget? Absolutely not!

We all know Boracay; beautiful beach. About 1 Million tourists per year. But it's full now...
So it is time to expand...

The government just started to make an International Airport at Caticlan (5 minutes South-East of Boracay).

Boracay is full now so we do not expect much activity there in the future.
For expansion we could look at Carabao Island (San Jose town) which is 10 minutes North of Boracay and foreign investors have plans to build a 'Second Boracay' there.

That's nice, but prices of real estate are already skyrocketing because of that news; and it will have the same future as Boracay ('Sun, Sand and Party').

Now look at the island of Tablas (30 minutes by speed-boat, North-East of Boracay); it has an airport, the same beaches as Boracay, lots are cheap, and most important; it's quiet. Far from the "karaoke terror". Fresh air. Some locations adopt the 'zero waste and zero pollution policy'. Koreans have built new roads around the island.

Make your move before the "Boracay Effect" washes upon the shores of Tablas. Prices of real estate are still low.

The Best Travel Destination In Asia

If the time has come for your vacation or a holiday getaway, read this article before making your plans.  There are many places of great beauty and interest to be seen in the USA and Europe.  But, whether transportation, touring, theme park, or food and lodging, it is expensive.  This article is written for every traveler, whether a backpacker on a budget, or a first class - five star traveler.

Travel in Asia is inexpensive and opens the door to different cultural experiences.  Planning can be for a short holiday, an extended stay, or choices of laying the groundwork for the ultimate stay, retirement.  Nowadays, with so many opportunities to make money using the Internet it is not out of the question to "retire" early.

Medical Tourism in Asia growing in popularity.  It is high quality and affordable.  Just one of International standard hospitals in Bangkok serves 400,000 international patients annually,  In the USA cataract surgery for one eye runs around $8,000.   At a prestigious International hospital in Thailand cataract surgery can be performed on both eyes for around $2,500.  It is possible to have quality medical care, and an Asian holiday, for a fraction of the cost of the same procedure in the USA.

Let us take a tantalizing glimpse at just some of the countries.

Thailand - Land of Smiles.  Often referred to as the most exotic country in Southeast Asia.  A visit to the Grand Palace in Bangkok for sure.  Trips to a floating market or to the Bridge on the River Kwai.  From pristine beaches in the Southern Islands to the Northern mountains with its waterfalls, elephants bathing in mountain streams, and Hill Tribe villages.

India - Delhi is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world.  India Gate, an imposing structure, has emerged as one of the most popular tourist spots in Delhi.  The Red Fort Delhi, a masterpiece of architecture, is a popular spot.  A trip to India would not be complete without a visit to Agra, famous as the site of one of the world's most romantic, graceful and photographed buildings, the Taj Mahal.

Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos - Three small countries neighboring Thailand.  Each opens a different world of exploration.  Cambodia - the highlight is visiting Angkor Wat, an architectural masterpiece constructed in the jungle in the early 12th century.  Vietnam - is a varied country, offering beaches, mountains and hundreds of years of history from the ancient Cham Towers to remnants from the Vietnam War. Laos - savor the crafts, culture and hospitality of Laos with a river trip, visits to ancient temples, gorgeous palaces, and traditional villages.

Nepal - Adventure, travel, trekking, birding, wildlife, and cultural & overland Safaris.  Take an air flight along the Himalayas and view magnificent Mount Everest.  Nearby, discover the serene beauty of Tibet, the country which inspired the Dalai Lama.  .

Indonesia - Jakarta, the capital city of the world's fourth most-populous nation.  Bali is Indonesia's main holiday destination.  Flores is a pretty lush green island with forests, palm and banana trees, rice fields and many volcanoes.  Highlights are the three small offshore islands of "Gillis" that invite snorkeling, diving and relaxing.  For hikers, a climb to the top of the volcano Rijani.

Philippines - An island nation comprising over 7,000 islands in the western Pacific Ocean.
Manila, the bustling capital has powerful reminders of the country's past, along with attractive parks, fine museums, and exhilarating nightlife.  The Ifugao Rice Terraces
are a testimony to the early technological advancement of the Ifugao people.  Take a jeepney ride to the market.  Be brave, try balut, a Philippine delicacy.  Go diving in the Visayas.

Singapore - Shopping on famous Orchard Road, the dream of every woman.  The Night Safari at Singapore Zoo is fabulous.  Chinatown, a little glitzy, but you can buy all the souvenirs you want there.  Interestingly, one of Singapore's most beautiful Hindu temples is smack dab in the middle of Chinatown.  Decide if a Singapore Sling is worth the hype in the Long Bar at Raffles Hotel.  There's more to Singapore than urban glitz, like rambling in the rain forest of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
Japan - Tokyo is the capital city and home of the Imperial Residence and Emperor's Palace.  Select a popular destination or region in Japan and explore its attractions.  Ride the Bullet Train to the magnificent city of Kyoto.  Visit Hiroshima and the Peace Memorial Park.  Castles, temples, gardens, the list of top destinations in Japan is too long for this article..

Taiwan - Taipei, the country's booming, vibrant capital remains steeped in Chinese, Japanese and native Taiwanese cultures.  Some of its most impressive sights include the Grand Hotel, topped by the largest Classical Chinese roof in the world, the Shihlin Night Market, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial with the National Theater and Concert Hall located directly across from each other on the grounds.  A popular day trip is Tailuge (Taroko Gorge), considered one of the natural wonders of the world.

Hong Kong - the Pearl of East and jewel of The Orient.  Nathan Road is lined with shops, restaurants, nightspots and cheap places to stay.  If you're in Hong Kong with the little ones, they'll probably appreciate Ocean Park (aquarium), Water World (swimming pools and water slides), and of course Disneyland.  If you're in Hong Kong for more than a few days, then there's plenty of outlying islands to discover.

It is often said that for the traveler that has seen it all and done it all, there is still Katmandu, Nepal.  And, that too is in Asia!

If you do not visit Asia, you will be missing not only a paradise of affordable travel, but the chance to see an alternative living location.  For retirees, it is luxury living for pennies, not just getting by on their pension.  Asia, a paradise experience is waiting for you.

Clearwater Resort Hotel In Clark Pampanga Philippines Open Camping and Picnic Sites

Where to picnic outside of Manila with family and loved ones?  Clark Philippines Clearwater Resort is a great destination for weekend getaways. Up until this month Clearwater was only able to accommodate guests in their hotel type of rooms. Fortunately, for the tourists that wish to experience Clark or the Philippines the outdoor way, Clearwater is now accommodating guests that would like to camp outdoors or picnic on their greens.

Clark Philippines is a worthwhile destination for local and foreign tourists not only because of its nice infrastructure of wide roads, big trees and generally pleasant look and feel.  It has a low crime rate that attracts well heeled tourists looking for a safe place to relax for a few days away from their busy lives at the city. Clearwater now makes it possible to not only enjoy an outdoor picnic with friends and family but the guest may also make arrangements to go on an all out camping trip in Clark.

The great thing about visiting Clearwater is that one does not have to be a total outdoors person to enjoy it there. For the more adventurous types they can take advantage of the old fashion camping trip, where the guests can put up their own tents. However, for the urban type of guest one can stay in a room that looks exactly like a tent but is air conditioned and has all the luxuries of a hotel room including a built in bathroom. To keep with the camping theme however as soon as the guests walk out of their tents a dirt floor welcomes them and a beautiful view of the lake. Clearwater is expanding their vision by allowing guests to pitch their own tents and giving them the freedom to choose what type of stay at the resort they experience.

This is also a good place to visit if one is a first time camper. For the guests that may want to have that outdoor feeling and sleep in a tent but are not quite comfortable being too far away from a real restroom and hot meals, Clearwater  is the perfect place to experience this.

Clearwater has 13 hectares of grassland which the huge Acacia trees make shade for. This is a unique place where one can enjoy fun outdoor activities and the beauty of Mother Nature in a secure location.

Getting to Clearwater Resort and Hotel in Clark Pampanga, Philippines:

After entering Pampanga Clark Freeport Zone from Dau, Angeles City or ScTex, proceed straight along Clark's main highway MA Roxas, passing Clark's wine shop called Clark Wine Center on the right. Continue to bear right along this main road of Clark Freeport making no turns at all, go past Clark's Mimosa Leisure Estate on the opposite side of the road, one will soon hit a major intersection.  Go straight and the road becomes Creekside Road.  YATS Clearwater Resort and Country Club is on the right just 200m down.

Plastic Surgery in the Philippines

Dilemma in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery

This is one thing for sure that I, as a Plastic Surgeon could share to anybody very much interested in enhancing their physical appearance.

Today, that the public have an increased interest in cosmetic surgery or physical enhancement either medical or surgical and with the market population increasing day by day. A lot of physicians, even non plastic surgeons and worse of all non doctors would like to get involve in cosmetic business. They would introduce them self as a cosmetic consultant or cosmetic surgeon even without undergoing formal training in Plastic Surgery.

Therefore it would be best for any prospective clients to carefully scrutinize the credentials or qualification of the person you seek consult with, in order to be assured of the quality of your surgeon. However, there are others that would organize and form their own group of surgeons to form a cosmetic organization to boost their qualifications and credentials.

The sole society or organization in the Philippines that is recognized locally by the Philippine College of Surgeons and internationally by the American College of Surgeon, American Society of Plastic Surgeon and ASEAN Congress of Plastic Surgeon to monitor and regulate the practice of cosmetic surgery and training of future plastic surgeons is the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons - PAPRAS. This prestigious assembly of Plastic Surgeons demand from its members certain qualifications and standards in term of academic and training, to assure the public of a safe and quality surgeons. So it is prudent if you would inquire from your surgeon, his affiliation to the society (PAPRAS).  It goes with out saying that PAPRAS membership or affiliation would be the seal of excellence in the practice of cosmetic surgery in the Philippines.

To clarify things out and to make the public aware, Cosmetic Surgery should be performed by a Plastic surgeon with adequate and formal training in cosmetic/aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Plastic surgeons are both cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon, and Reconstructive surgery is a prerequisite for all plastic surgeon before they finish their training and be certified member of the society (PAPRAS). It would take 6 to 8 years of formal training and 2 qualifying national specialty exams (Given by the Philippine Boards of Plastic) after medical school before a doctor could claim himself a Plastic Surgeon. Training is very essential, because it is through these years of training that plastic surgeon is able to gain knowledge to do cosmetic procedure, differentiate high-quality result from dreadful outcome, and learn to identify, prevent and treat complications.

However there are alot of doctors and even non physician that don’t want to take the longer road to be a plastic surgeon, since they think that they could deceive the unsuspecting client. Usually they call themselves cosmetic surgeon but such term does not exist, they usually undergo a 6 to12 months of observership locally or from other country without hands-on training, then afterwards they offer and perform cosmetic surgical procedures to any interested punter.

For the benefit of the majority, the public must be information that there are only few Certified Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon in the Philippines. There are only less than 300 certified member of the society (PAPRAS - Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery).

So, the only thing that we plastic surgeons could advice you and/or your friends when planning to have any cosmetic procedure please ask if the doctor is a Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon and not just a cosmetic surgeon and then ask the surgeon if he/she is a member of the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons - PAPRAS for you to be sure of the qualification of your surgeons.

Dentist Tourism Philippines

dentist tourism philippines"dentist tourism philippines"

Kind of Scarey, isn't it?

The lure of the often incredible savings on medical services and the lifetime of cherished memories of experiencing exotic destinations are both powerful reasons that the medical tourism industry is growing rapidly. Add to this the years of enjoyment of living a higher quality of life that comes with a successful medical outcome.

Amid all the positive benefits, mostly the savings, of medical tourism there still is that underlying anxiety that many people never talk about, the risks involved. The planning, itself, of going to another country, even for an anticipated vacation can have its stressed filled moments. The additional planning needed to coordinate a trip with, or because of a medical procedure adds yet another layer.

Sitting in front of your computer you can spend hours surfing site after site and read about all the glowing self promotion from medical tourism facilitators and providers.

Yet the truth is many of these companies have never visited the destinations that they promote. Many more use logos from various government, professional accreditation agencies or well respected companies, completely fraudulently and without proper authorization, giving the false impression that they have followed the proper steps to help ensure the safety of their client, the patient. It is as if they care more about building a colorful website, with all the bells & whistles and big promises, than really standing behind the real truth about their company.

Some companies even insist that you pay them the entire costs up front first and they process your medical expenses for you. In this age of identity theft can they guarantee to keep your personal and credit card information safe? They may also access your medical history, and the invasion of privacy that represents, as a reason to facilitate your medical payments.

Will they still be there and look out for you, now that they already have your money?  Worse yet, what if you are in a hospital and then you discover that the company took your money has not made any payments and is simply gone?

Think it hasn't happened? Think again.

AmeriCare Global addresses these issues head on. In fact, AmeriCare Global was built from the ground up to help ensure their Member's every means of safety and satisfaction and is proactive in its approach to do just that.

It begins with our exclusive "Member's Only Rating System". Our entire portfolio of Medical, Dental, Institutional and Professional service providers know that EVERY AmeriCare Global Member is watching how each INDIVIDUAL Member is treated. Just as a criminal avoids lighted areas, this feature alone helps to prevent an unqualified or unscrupulous provider from even being considered by us, they would not want to risk that kind of bad exposure in the industry.

AmeriCare Global never needs access to your credit card information or medical history files. You pay the medical, dental or institutional provider directly. We will work closely with you and your service provider, if needed, to provide an escrow account whereby you may direct payments from a reputable bank to your provider directly.

We offer a comprehensive list of adjunct support services.

To help ensure a smooth overall trip we provide; Visa processing, local door to door transportation for medical appointments and leisure tourism activities, and special travel and tour packages while you are in the Philippines.

To make your medical procedure recovery even more cost effective and comfortable we provide In-Home or Hotel Nurses and Physical Therapists that will coordinate with your doctor or dentist.

Because so many Americans have decided on extended stays or even retiring in the Philippines, we offer Professional services such as Retirement Visa processing, a full scope of Legal services, including our exclusive 24/7 Emergency Legal Assistance. The first of its kind in the Philippines. Business Consultation, Tax & Accounting services are also available.

AmeriCare Global is Recognized as a Full Partner Medical Travel Integrator by the Philippine Department of Health. We are also part of the U.S. Business Service Provider Network (BSP) as certified by the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce under three categories, to wit: Hospitals & Clinics; Business Consulting; and Travel Facilitation and Visa Processing. Our legal representative in the Philippines, ACGI Health Care Referral Services, is an Accredited Marketer for the Philippine Retiremnt Authority.

There is, however, one service that AmeriCare Global provides its Members that we are most proud of. We solidly stand behind what we offer and in the unlikely event that you ever have an issue we will do everything we can to provide a positive solution. In fact, we back it up with a good ol' fashioned 100% American money back guarantee, see terms and conditions for details.

Whether you reside in the U.S., the Philippines or anywhere else, you are so much more than a client. You are a Member of the AmeriCare Global family.

Scuba Diving Trip

Planning For Scuba Diving Tour And Trips

The thrills of scuba diving tour are better experienced than explained. The waters below the surface of any deep water body carry an amazingly rich variety of aquatic life. The plants and aquatic animals will make you feel like Alice of the wonderland fame. This is because they will simply be unlike anything that you have ever experienced on land. The rich display of colors, the astonishing mix of flora and fauna and the sheer joy of being underwater beckons all and sundry for an experience of a lifetime. So, what are you waiting for? Choose your favorite destination, go to the Internet and contact professionals to arrange scuba diving trips for yourself and your loved ones. Most of the people, after their maiden scuba diving tour, come out wondering why they wasted so many years of their lives by not indulging in this activity earlier!!

But, before you head for one of those scuba diving trips there are few things that you should keep in mind so that you get maximum fun out of the experience.

Your service provider should provide the equipments for the scuba diving tour

Scuba diving is one activity that requires some sophisticated, yet commonly available, gears and equipments. The most primary among them is self-contained, high pressure containers that supply you with oxygen for breathing while you remain underwater for long. Without them you will not be able to get much deep inside. These containers are connected to quality breathing apparatus and are strapped on to your back while you are enjoying scuba diving trips underwater. The other paraphernalia includes wet suites, gloves, underwater goggles, hoods, ear caps, etc. While having your own gear will be a great idea, it is a more economical and feasible to ask your service providers to arrange for the same.

Knowledge, certification and course

Many scuba diving destinations like Mexico require that the enthusiasts undergo a simple training session. At the end of this sessions and briefing they become certified scuba divers. But, this is not a major impediment. These sessions are quite easy and aim at checking your physical vitality, swimming skills and acquaint you with the nuances of scuba diving. So, do make sure that your undergo them and venture underwater after getting due certifications.

10 Publicity Tips to Market Your Business This Holiday Season & Start the New Year On Top

The holidays are upon us. For most business owners that means an increase in sales - or at least it used to. In today's frustrating economy, small and large businesses alike are facing record lows when it comes to sales.  Even those in the service industry are seeing less and less clients. So what’s the answer?  Think 10?  Try these 10 ways to survive and thrive this holiday season.

Top 10 Publicity Ideas to Market Your Business This Holiday Season

  1. One great way to boost sales and awareness of your company is to enlist the help of a publicity virtual assistant. These experts specialize in helping you to get more publicity.  They can handle everything from writing and sending out press releases to creating entire media campaigns. Let them write better descriptions for your products, find the best keywords to drive traffic there, do research to find where best to locate your target audience, and then finally handle all your PR needs. Publicity virtual assistants take the time to learn their niche and to develop a relationship with their clients so that they can bring amazing results.  See, your holiday sales can meet and exceed last year’s sales after all.
  2. Do specialized holiday marketing. It’s not too late to take advantage of all that can be done this year to make more sales.  Consider having a Black Friday sale or a Cyber Monday sale.  Add a contest to your site.     Send out postcards and gift certificates.
  3. Article  & Press Release Writing and Distribution – Article marketing works.  It’s a great way to get more exposure for your business and when done right, can result in front page Google rankings, more clients, & lots of sales.  Get active and write a press release about your business making a holiday or New Year connection. For example, share how you are giving back during the holidays, any promotions you have, etc.
  4. Get speaking -- Set up speaking engagements for the New Year.  In January businesses go back to all work, no play after the holidays.  It’s a perfect time to get out there and connect with businesses and line up speaking engagements.  Also, consider a teleseminar series too.
  5. Create a Holiday Blog Tour.  If you have products or tips for the holidays, connect with other bloggers.  Ask if you can provide some holiday tips.  Bloggers are busy this time of year too so they will appreciate the added help.  And the best news, you get more exposure.
  6. Set up a Google Adword Campaigns – More people are online now because of the holidays.  And a lot of those people will be checking out the search engines to find Christmas Gifts.  It’s a great time to set up a Google Adword campaign and get that added exposure for your business.
  7. Reconnect with ALL your clients and let them know how you appreciate them and perhaps how you can help them with other needs they may not even know you offer.  Send a personalized holiday card or greeting.   For local clients stop by their office and drop off presents, popcorn tins for the staff and/or their favorite coffee for their afternoon pick-me-up.  For potential new clients, drop off a Holiday cup full of wrapped candy with your business card or perhaps get your business name printed on the candy bar.
  8. Set up a marketing campaigns designed especially for and around your company or brand.  Write down a marketing plan for the year that will focus on brand recognition.  Most importantly, make sure your brand represents your company the way it should to your target audience.
  9. Update your website.  Take a look at your website and see if it is the best that it can be.  Pay special attention to your homepage and keywords.  Look to the overall appearance, the professionalism of your wording, the explanations explaining the benefits you provide, etc.  In fact, everything in your site needs to convince a client to work with you.  Now ask yourself, does it do that?  Is this something I can be proud of?  Too often we throw together a website, just to have it done.  Remember this can often be a client’s first impression of you.  Is it selling you well?
  10. Don’t forget your social networking.  Even ½ hour a day can make a considerable difference,  Remember to build relationships and share more than sell.

The holidays are a great time to make money, even in this economy.  If you’d like additional tips stop by SoYouWantToBeaWahm.com today.  Also, share with us your tips for the holidays.

what filipinos usually do is take a bus to batangas, which cost probably 9 dolars. then from there take a mini boat that could cost you another 9 dolars. when it comes to hotel resorts, it would depend on how classy you want it to be. but on an average, probably 20 to 40 dolars a night

What airlines allow you to bring scuba diving equipment for free?

Are there any airlines out there that realize that scuba divers travel to exotic locations with their heavy gear and have added dive equipment into the free luggage allowance? Golf equipment and surfboards already are common so why not dive gear?

Scuba equipment is like anything else you check in as baggage. It is subject to the same rules and regs as checked baggage. I am an instructor, own a PADI Dive Center, and I have trucked my gear to all parts of the world (including bringing my own soft weights!). If my bag was overweight, I wore my weight belt and carried the regulator in my carry-on. Pack light. What else do you need if you're a real diver? Shorts and T-shirts, and maybe one good set of clothes--IF--and that's a big if--want to go out to party. (Remember, if you stay out late, you'll miss the dive boat in the morning!) Just make friends with other divers, and get together with them, and don't worry about your clothes. Incidentally, keep that dive knife in the gear bag and check it into luggage. By the way, my gear weighs about 40 lbs., and most airlines allow 50 lbs.

That said, I have had a negative experience in a well known dive destination: Cozumel. Coming in with dive gear, I checked in my luggage and paid nothing extra--I was within the airline luggage rate regulations. Leaving, I had the same luggage, same airline, same flight-and they told me my bags were over the allowed limit, and I'd have to pay a $100 fee. After arguing for a half hour, causing a scene, and backing up the line, they finally let me through without an additional charge. If it happens again, I will contact the airline and file a formal complaint. I doubt that it would do any good, but you never know. However, it would be a good idea to arm yourself with airline documentation that states poundage allowed, and other regulations, so you can be prepared, just in case. I have also met a lot of surfers and golfers (I live in a resort location--Manzanillo, Colima--in Mexico). To my knowledge, they exchange a surfboard or a golf bag for the equivalent of one piece of luggage.
