In the Philippines, Subic bay is a world famous diving site because of the many shipwrecks in shallow, clear, calm waters within the bay. There are many other great diving sites in the Philippines, and all the resort locations such as Boracay, Bohol, Palawan, etc. have dive trips to local reefs, many reefs are located in shallow water or just a few steps from the beach.
