hotel phil"hotel phil" I've received application form from Delta Quebec Hotel. I just want to know if it's the real thing.?
May I know if Amanda Delson really is the secretary responsible for hiring foreign applicants in the said hotel and whether Dr. Kelvin Cook is really its director? I'm applying work visa on this address immigrationdepartment@lawyer.com with application reference number CA46/78896-MK. Is it not possible that I apply for visa in my country (Phils.) and not in Ottawa?
That sounds like the same M.O. of a big scam going around. They send around an email with a name similar to a Canadian Hotel offering jobs. They connect you with someone to do the paper work. There is a fee for the paperwork, but there is no job. Canada does not approve work visas based on basic labour jobs in a hotel. The job has to be shown that it can't be filled by Canadians, and tends to be Doctors and Engineers.
This is the first time I've seen this hotel name used, but everything else is the same. Yes, there is a chain that goes by "Delta Hotels", they have one they call "Delta Quebec". But they wouldn't send out a email calling themselves "Delta Quebec Hotel"

scuba diving vacation_2"scuba diving vacation" How much alcohol can you drink while on a vacation that includes SCUBA diving?
SCUBA diving, safety, vacation, drinking, alcohol, health
You being a new diver I would recommend zero alcohol consumption if you are going to scuba dive. Either drink or dive, one or the other, but not both. ( I'm not condoning drinking one way or the other for you, just answering your question about drinking and diving). Actually, the biggest health problem from alcohol, except for the obvious, while scuba diving is dehydration. I'm sure you have experienced, after a night of drinking, you wake up the next day being very thirsty. All you want to do is drink water or some other non-alcohol drink to quench that thirst. So, dehydration is a big health danger while diving, because the air you breath from your tank is compressed and very, very dry!!! This compressed dry air sucks the moisture from your body very rapidly while diving, which dehydrates you even more. Have you ever experience a dry parched feeling throat after diving? That is the air from your scuba tank taking the moisture from your body. I'm sure your scuba instructor told you to drink lots of water before and after diving. That's why!!! So, in my professional opinion, please do not drink if you are scuba diving, because you are so new to diving. Just don't want you to hurt yourself. If you aren't going to take my advice about zero alcohol, then no more then two drinks, and then drink plenty of water. No sport drinks or Gatorade, bad for you if you're scuba diving, just water. Hope you have a great time on your vacation.....Be Safe!!!

Many foreign nationals who toured the Asian countries in search of love ended up in the Philippines. Some of us are succinct testimony of this fact. Once you are knowledgeable about the hot spots in the Philippines, you will be in a much better position than Mr. Schilling because you are forewarned. Please bear in mind that the Philippines is both a Paradise Island and the kidnapping capital of East Asia. Therefore, you must exert extreme cautions during your stay in the Philippines.
Warning A few dangerous places that should be known as 'off-limits' to foreign visitors or those who are residents in the Philippines are however listed as exotic tourist spots by travel agencies and the department of tourism. I feel that foreign visitors are left in the dark on this issue because of monetary gains. I feel that foreign visitors have the right to know the truth about dangerous areas in the Philippines. Criminal and terrorist activities are extraordinary and shocking throughout Mindanao. Palawan, although a beautiful island, is also a dangerous place for the foreign nationals. There have been some kidnapping for ransom there.
You may find some travel agents or others who may wish to convince you to visit Palawan due to its beautiful beaches and landscape. Nonetheless, I strongly recommend that you stay vigilant if you visit Palawan, for your own safety. On May 28, 2001 - Suspected Abu Sayyaf gunmen raid the Dos Palmas resort off the western Philippines island of Palawan and seize 20 hostages including a United States couple and former Manila Times owner Reghis Romero. Most recently, on January 12, 2011 - four traveling merchants and a guide were killed and one wounded when suspected Abu Sayyaf militants ambushed them in Basilan.
As you may be aware, kidnapping for ransom is a common crime in the Philippines. The kidnappers and a large number of Filipinos perceive foreign nationals as ATM machines or mobile banking institutions, which means that all Westerners or any foreign nationals on the Philippines soil are filthy rich. They do not consider robbing them a crime; it is just sharing some of the wealth. Is there a need to be afraid residing in or visiting the Philippines? The answer is no, if you have the necessary knowledge respective to places that are or should be off-limits to foreign nationals.
Stay tuned for upcoming Part II.

Hi.. Ive been wondering if i can get a japan visa? im still studying in a university here in the Philippines so obviously i don't have a job! i Just want to spend my summer vacation this coming 2010 in japan for a while as a tourist. But i dont want to be in a package tour or something because its so troublesome! My parents are USA citizen and Canadian citizen.. but im not yet a citizen of both countries! damn.. Im still waiting for it..
If you have a US or Canadian visa, then your chances of getting a Japan visa is better. Go to the embassy and try to apply for one. You'll probably need to show some bank documents with your parents name as well as your current enrollment papers from your University.

Find The Filipinos Associated With Your Boracay Hotels
Did you know that the Philippines is maybe the third-largest English-speaking nation on the planet? Really few people recognize that and it's got just as much in common with the US occupation around the turn of the nineteenth century as other things. The Philippines is viewed by several as being a definite anomaly, yet an enjoyable one. Their own practices, influences and sub cultures are mirrored in a melting pot of diversity. We might, for example, see Spanish effects of their ancient colonization. This particular occupation continued for some 300 years until the Filipinos gained their liberty. Obviously we could see influences of the nearby Chinese as well as Japanese, however those who believe that the Philippines is just one more Asian nation are usually quite wrong.
Numerous credit the USA with the progression of the country and with the introduction of extensive education and learning for the men and women. Throughout World War 2 the people from the Philippines fought beside the Americans with the Japanese. Genuine Filipino independence emerged immediately after World War II.
Without doubt due to their constant struggles for liberty and sovereignty, the people from the Philippines adore democracy and also independence. In the event that you take a good look at the way that they live their everyday life you will observe plenty of US culture and the functions of abundance. People today find it quite difficult to identify a Filipino, their own perspective and their character, but they're typically quite helpful, rather loyal and quite introspective.
Considering that hospitality is a quite important consideration for the Filipino, tourism has turned into a significant sector throughout the islands. No place can this be noticed far more clearly than in one of several true treasures of the Pacific - Boracay Island. At this point, the residents have taken comprehensive advantage of the beautiful spot to build up one of the world's very best vacation vacation spots. Hundreds of Boracay resorts have sprouted around what is called the world's greatest beach. Realizing the belief that people desire to go to this tropical isle from all over the world, the wide range of Boracay accommodation is actually amazing.
Although some individuals are a little averse to go to China, Japan, Taiwan or Thailand as a result of anticipated lifestyle and also language obstacles, they must not avoid visiting the Philippines for their getaway. Though it may be not the formal national dialect, English is certainly thought to be the country's unofficial one.
Without a doubt the Philippines represents a nation exactly where East joins West as well as in a really pleasurable and maintainable way. You will discover a little something for all in these diversified islands. Lots of people elect to check out Manila, the country's main city and busy heart of business and trade. Quite a few nevertheless are looking for an escape, retreat as well as rest and focus on the tiny tropical isle of Boracay as an alternative.
Within all the Boracay hotels you will find on that tropical isle, you will find a group of Filipinos wanting to welcome you and show you their treasures. They are justifiably happy with this tropical isle that they call home and would love you to enjoy every single second that you're there.

philippines packages_3"philippines packages" if my package from philippines to dubai contains some pirated DVDs, should i declare it in the custom's form?
if my package from philippines to dubai contains some pirated DVDs, should i declare it in the custom's form? or should i declare that the DVD's are some personal files or personal collections?or should i not declare it and just keep it hidden by lots of packaging tape?
Hi, no you can't declare it....LOL....you might get into trouble... In my opinion, since those DVDs are pirated, better not to declare or mention that you have inserted any in that package, if you'll happen to encounter a strict customs official, he might open it and check what are those dvds. Now if you have some clothing inside the package, rather packed those dvds inside the clothes and better if you have towels packed in. But still, just want to remind you doing this will be at risk, just cross your fingers the custom inspector is at good mood while your package is being released.
First things first, scuba diving is one of the foremost fun things one could do in Hawaii. Believe it or not, there are various diving companies, diving sites in and around Hawaii. All you have to do is open yourself up to the possibilities of fun and diving adventure.
Why dive in Hawaii?
The fact of the matter is that the chain of islands in Hawaii is basically made up of more than a hundred islands. The most famous of these islands are Kauai, Ni'ihau, Lanai, Molokai, Maui and Kahoolawe.
Hawaii is surrounded by the ocean and is specifically located about more than two thousand miles from the nearest continent.
It has been shown that more than twenty five percent of marine life is attributed to Hawaii.
Of the islands mentioned, the four islands that tourists most flock to are Maui, Oahu, Kauai as well as Hawaii.
These islands all have their own unique traits as well as diving locations.
The islands of Molokai, Lanai, Ni'ihau are actually less frequently dived yet they offer unique marine life.
These islands are recommended generally for divers that are advanced as well as intermediate levels.
If interested in going to Kahoolawe for diving, a charter diving boat is needed. However, there are other fun options one could do when you're not under the waves. Skydiving is one, visiting a luau is another.
You could also try going to one of the active volcano's in the world. Or if you prefer, relaxing in a secluded and peaceful beach is also a good option.
Diving sites in Hawaii
Hawaii is a perfect place to go diving. Thanks to its warm and pristine waters.
Oahu is a diving site in Hawaii that has lava offshore formations as well as grottoes, shipwrecks and plane. It also carries large colorful schools of sea green turtles and fish.
Maui is another Hawaii scuba diving site that is located on the west coast and also offers excellent sites for diving for any level.
Kauai is also known for the pristine and rugged diving sites. The winter season makes it quite inaccessible for diving, however that isn't the case when summer comes.
Lanai is another diving site that is known for the lava formations it offers. The formations consist of nature-made ridges, archways, tunnels and pinnacles.
All in all, there are many Hawaii diving sites to choose from. It all depends on your preference and need. It is a guarantee though that scuba diving anywhere in Hawaii is an activity that is unforgettably fun.
top resorts in asia_2"top resorts in asia" what does my strange dream means?
The other night i dreamt i was at this beach resort in some south east asia country, probably thailand. i went to the poolside area.
i was seated at this cocktail bar made entirely of wood n has thatched roof. somehow i was seated on a high stool which was very unstable n i had to hold on to the bar table to balance myself.
then later i looked to the floor n suddenly realized there was seawater, as if this bar somehow floated out into the sea.
i panicked n this sexy hot babe bartender behind the counter gives me a tall glass of cocktail which has a bikini stuffed into it. i somehow got disgusted. she then strips off her spaghetti tank top and hot pants n gave them to me, n asked me to wear them.
so i was like 'huh?' n i looked at her. n she was in a brown bikini, n the bikini top somehow transformed into an octopus n it slithered off her n lunged at me.
i jumped off my stool n landed into the water.
i then woked up, what a scary dream
not trying to sound mean but it sounds like your having troubles being sexual attracted to females or your confused about it, maybe even scared.

dive philippine"dive philippine" i thought filipinos were latinos?
during the summer me and my family went to the philippines because my parents heard it was a good diving spot. i didnt know much about the philippines other than it used to be a spanish colony, so i assumed that the people in the philippines were all hispanic. but when we got there, everyone there was asian. when did this happen?
Of course everyone there is Asian, it's in Asia (shouldn't you know that since you flew there?).
Latinos - people from Latin America. According to the US' racial identification.
Yes Philippines is part of the Latin Union, and was a former colony of Spain but the criteria is different in US and is not based on who is in the Latin Union.
I suggest you do some research rather than assuming or listening to a deluded Fil-Am and believing him/her that Filipinos are Latinos.
@Halle - Ummmm. LOL. Filipinos back then were Spaniards born and raised in the Philippine Islands, or Peninsulares. The native ones are called not Filipino but Indios. And the name Filipino? That's Spanish/Hispanic.
This part's sort of correct though "...it's in Asia,so expect to see filipino as asian looking people..."
The only part that's wrong is...what is the 'Asian look?'. There's no such thing; no such thing as an Asian race. The largest continent in Earth, you expect everyone there to be related in terms of race?
And to the asker - After reading this a second time, it seems like a weird question. Is it even a question? Or did you just put this up to prove something like "Filipinos don't look Latino they are Asian"...but that's just my assumption, it could be that you are just so dumb, that even after flying about 12 to 16 hours (w/c is pretty long to think that it's in Latin America) you still thought it's located in somewhere in South America, and even after seeing the flight attendants/passengers (If you guys used PAL) you still thought Filipinos were Latinos?!

scuba diving in philippines_2"scuba diving in philippines" I'm going to Asia...need some tips/advice?
I'll be in Asia for 3 weeks...this question has a few parts:
1- I'm going to bangkok, ko samet, phuket, singapore, and the philippines (in that order)...what type of luggage should I bring? I was planning on bringing 1 large rolling/pull-along suitcase, but then I thought about just getting one of those huge North Face travel backpacks. What do you suggest? Keep in mind that I'm gonna be taking ferries, boats, planes, taxis, etc.
2- When I'm hanging out on the beach, where can I keep my camera/I.D./money safe (from water, sand, and thieves)? I want to keep it close to me, but then I also want the freedom of being able to go jump in the water for a few minutes, then come back to my towel and lay out, then go back into the water, etc. Also, if I go on any snorkeling/scuba diving excursions, where can I keep my stuff so that it stays safe (from thieves) and dry?
it depends on your size. If you are small enough take nothing but good shoes and two changes of clothes. All the clothes there are very very cheap. take toilet paper. Even buy your own backpack over there for cheap....we did. When it comes to looking after your items thats another story.. If you are traveling with some one take turns at looking after them.. leave them in your hotel if you have to.. Some places have little dry bags that can keep your things on you and dry on day tours..... Take as little as possible at all times..... HAve a great trip/

boracay hotels resorts"boracay hotels resorts" Where is the best resort in Boracay and the safest hotel too.?
one w/ complete amenities and offers a good view of the sea.
Dave's Straw Hat Inn has been voted #1 on Boracay for quite a while now. Although it doesn't have a view of the sea, it's a worth sacrifice. It's just consistently great service.
You won't find anywhere with "complete" amenities (whatever that means). In fact, no hotel matches every single one of your criteria!
If any person had been to ask me to recommend a destination for a holiday with the family, Manila might be 1 of my favourite places that I'd suggest. Apart from the many Cheap Manila Hotels, culture, foods plus the different fascinating locations to visit in Manila, every thing there's so inexpensive and affordable and this will be the 2nd reason why I would suggest anyone to go to Manila for any vacation.
There are plenty of hotels located throughout the city, ranging from $30 to $300 per evening to suit each budget. A lot of of your accommodations include Totally free Web Access and Totally free Buffet or Continental Breakfast, modern day facilities and facilities, actually value for cash.
One thing to note is that you will usually get a less expensive fee with free of charge value added solutions like free of charge net, free parking and free of charge breakfast if you reserve the lodge by way of the internet. If you were to e-book the area personally at the resort counter, the cost will be a lot larger.
There's no doubt that 1 from the greatest costs when heading for a journey is on the price of resort rooms. We all expect excellent service, clean and nice rooms, convenient places and obviously the cheaper the place charges, the much better.
The great news is that in Manila, you are able to very easily get amazing resort deals for as low-cost as $50 per night with totally free internet and breakfast. I would want to highlight 3 inexpensive Manila hotels which I stayed in not too long ago. I come across them seriously price mentioning as I definitely loved the companies they provided.
Most effective Western Resort La corona Manila (three stars)
Situated at 1166 M.H. del Pilar cor. Arquiza Sts, Manila
Contains breakfast buffet and it is only about $51 per evening
Oxford Suites Makati (4 stars)
Located at Durban Cor, P. Burgos Sts Makati
Consists of breakfast buffet and is also about $64 per night
The Linden Suites Manila (4 stars)
Situated at 37 San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Center Pasig
Consists of Continental Breakfast and is also about $76 per evening
With today's technologies, it is possible to simply search for Cheap Manila Hotels by way of the internet in the comfort of one's house, check out the place, services, amenities along with the costs of those hotels just before making a reservation. Once you placed your booking, you'll commonly receive an instantaneous confirmation via e-mail from these internet resort portals and you can verify in straight to the resort basically by displaying the receipt, truly quickly and problem free of charge.

philippine diving_2"philippine diving" [[ATTENTION]] hair help please?
use Dove Heat Defense S/C and VO5 Hot Oil treatment. So far it was working ok for me. I'm black/filipino and lately, everytime i wash my hair, there would be a lot of breakage than usual. there would be on my shoulder, my hand, the floor, and the soap. everytime in the shower like when i apply condtioner and i run my finger through it, there would be some hair breakage on my finger. what's wrong with me? im not stressed or anything. I use some sunsilk products and garnier. i use heat protection, everytime i straighten my hair. I don't like using black hair product because i don't like having greasy oily hair. i like having sleek soft hair without the gunks in it. im thinking about heading to a salon next month but i don't know what to ask for. do i get a deep conditoning treatment or what?
help! thanks
Increase your protein intake and incorporate more protein-based products in your hair care routine. Hair mayonnaise is a great way to give your hair protein. Also try Joico k-pak & re-constructor. They are great for boosting your protein. Also, since your hair is fragile right now, manipulate it less often and cut back on the heat. straighten only once a week and the rest of the week do little to your hair as far as combing and harsh brushing. you can flat iron it once a week and wrap it around your head at night while you sleep for the remaining days. use a light oil such as coconut oil to help keep it fresh, shiny, and bouncy.

Experience The Wonders Of Palawan
Widely considered as the last ecological frontier in the Philippines, Palawan is truly a wonder of nature. The uninhabited islands, craggy limestone cliffs, glorious coral reefs, majestic mountains and abundant wildlife all make the place ideal for tourists looking for a different travel escapade.
Also known as the most exotic of all Philippine travel destinations, Palawan is an island province surrounded by clear waters and impressive coral reefs. These coral reefs are home to a colorful aquatic life, while the province itself is teeming with nature's bounty. Because of this, local and international environment authorities declared the entire place (all of Palawan's 1,768 islands and islets) a nature sanctuary to protect its flora and fauna. With its land area of almost 1.5 hectare land, Palawan gives shelter to exotic animals and natural attractions, such as rainforests, mountain ranges, hidden caves, and unspoiled beaches, which continually attract visitors from all over world.
As one of the country's top destinations, Palawan has an enchanting beauty that compels tourists to keep on coming back. All of its gorgeous beach resorts are among the best in the world while its equally breath-taking diving spots have also received international recognition. One of these highly regarded dive spots is the Tubbataha Reef, which is located in the Sulu Sea, 181 kilometers southeast of the provinces' capital, Puerto Princesa City. Tubbataha is home to more than 1000 species of marine animals, many of which are considered endangered. Among those that are found in the area include tortoises, manta rays, lionfish, clownfish, and sharks.
Want to experience touring a world heritage site? Then go and visit the Subterranean River National Park located in Puerto Princesa City. Here, you can navigate the 8.2 kilometer underground river that flows through a stunning cave under a rugged limestone and marble cliffs and heads toward an underground lagoon with crystal clear waters.
The El Nido Marine Reserve located in Miniloc, El Nido, which is in the northern tip of the main island of Palawan, is another popular nature spot in the province. Occupying an area of 96,000 hectares, the area nestles varied ecosystems composed of rainforests, beaches, coral and limestone reefs. The place is also home to a wide variety of fishes and sea creatures like manta ray and the "dugong" or sea cow, which is considered as the world's rarest water mammal.
Aside from providing refuge to endemic wildlife, Palawan is also a haven for various types of African wild animals, which were brought from Africa when a terrible drought and widespread civil conflicts ravaged Kenya in 1977. African animals such as zebras, giraffes, impalas, and gazelles were brought to Calauit Island to live in the sanctuary that also protects endangered local animals like mouse deer, bear cats, tarsiers, leopard cats, Palawan peacock pheasants, porcupines, scaly anteaters, and monitor lizard. Tourists are allowed to drop by Calauit Island Wildlife Sanctuary for a visit as safaris are regularly arranged in cooperation with the park rangers.
In planning your escapade to Palawan, you may choose take one of the daily flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa through carriers such as Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific. Travel time by air is one hour and five minutes. Small planes bound for the Calamian Islands in the northern portion of Palawan are also available. Arriving at the YKR Airport in Busuanga Island (part of Calamian group of Islands), visitors can take the jeepney shuttles to Decalatiao Wharf, where speedboats are waiting to ferry everyone to their island destination of choice.

bohol philippines resort"bohol philippines resort" What is the name of a very affordable but at the same time nice hotel or resort in Bohol Philippines?
Bohol Tropics is great.
About one mile north on the same coastal road as Bohol Tropics is a great seafood restaurant overlooking the water. The waitresses all wear a sari (spelling?) and are some of the cutest Filipinas I have ever seen in one place.
