Travel And Tour In The Philippines

My family will visit Hong Kong in January (2011) and we're planning to go to Macau as well.?

I'd like to ask
(1) if it is advisable to get a tour guide (for Macau tour), and if so, can you suggest where can we get a tour guide when we arrived there (and if possible, how much is the cost)?
(2) how long do we have to stay in Macau to travel the entire place?
(3) i guess we don't need a visa anymore (we're from the Philippines), is that right? So, aside from our passports, do we need to bring pataca (macau currency) already or hkd is already accepted in there?
Thanks!

u dun hv to hire a tour gu as Macau is really small. if u taxi aorund it wil take u no more than an hour. so....i think this is quite enuf 4 u http://www.avis.com.mo/tour_machine.html
this tour machine wil brings u to ALL spots of Macau & some even allow u to get down the car & photo. chk Avis's website for the price per head. n a round trip boat's tix between HK & Macau for an adult wil be aro HK$340. boats 24-7.....here's their website http://www.turbojet.com.hk/eng/home/index.asp

HKD is 100% welcome in Macau. dun keep patacas as it can not be exchange after u left Macau. spend it all up there or just simply use HKD. rates not much diff. HKD$100 just = abt MOP$102. same same.........

also, u can head up to the Macau Tower for a lunch buffet. not expensive at all........n the restaurant turns itself 360 degrees. go daytime as my experience as u can take more clear photos. http://www.macautower.com.mo/eng/dining/index.asp

dun think visa is needed. but u better chk w ur local agency.
