Buying designer clothes in the Philippines?
I heard that the malls there are the biggest in South East Asia, and I also heard that Malaysia is the best country for clothes cause it's real designer clothes and it's cheap. I'm thinking of going to either one next year with my friend and we both LOVE shopping. So I was wondering which country has the better clothes to buy.
Also, does anybody know any good hotels that are cheap in the Philippines? (The city not beaches or resorts or etc...)
Go to the Philippines. Makati (Manila) in particular. The Powerplant at Rockwell, Greenbelt and Glorietta Malls have designers shops i.e. Gucci, prada, Bally, Zara, Mango, etc. SM Mall of Asia has these shops , too---and it is the biggest mall in the country (1 day of shopping will not be enough, my dear).
I've been to Malaysia last year and comparing the prices, I would still buy my designer clothes in Manila (Makati)--that is if I can summon my conscience to buy those expensive (!) clothes--as they are cheaper.
For hotels near these malls:
4-5 star : New World Renaissance, Dusit Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, Sommerset Hotel
3-star or less: City Garden Hotel Makati, Oxford Suites, Best Western Astor, BSA Mansions
